This has the effect of strengthing relationships with your husband, family, and church.

Beginning September 12th we will be looking at the Life of the Apostle Paul using the Fisherman Bible Study Guide "Acts 13-28: A Study of the Apostle Paul" by Chuck and Winnie Christensen.

 
The books are about $7 each and will be available in plenty of time for our September 12th class. If there is anyone who has difficulty paying for the book, arrangements can be made. Don’t miss the class because of financial reasons.

Thrive under pressure
The apostle Paul was one of the great world-changers of all time. After a dramatic conversion experience, the former persecutor of Christians became a devote follower of Christ. In this study you will walk with Paul through the many struggles and victories of his life’s ministry. As Paul was forced to face a diversity of difficulties, he learned to trust God for help and wisdom. The lessons we learn from Paul and the book of Acts provide guidance for contemporary crises today.

All ladies of Redeemer are encouraged to be a party of this Bible study.

There are also monthly "Chick Flick" nights (see sidebar) and yearly retreats.

From the account of Elisha's healing of Naaman and Jesus healing a man with the same disease we are invited today to consider all the effects of our sin as a leprosy from which there is no healing except from the touch of Jesus. It is not by some magical incantation but through the humble means of the Word and Sacraments of the Gospel that Christ brings His touch to our lives. Through the forgiveness of sins we have the ultimate healing to any and every effect of sin and the promise of the deliverance into His eternal kingdom of eternal life.
